I am a geek. There, I admit it.
From a very young age, I have been brought up with comic books, cult movies and anything else which differs from the boring norm of life. I love being able to escape into fantasy worlds where robots are taking over the planet, people are running around in spandex fighting super villains and singing transvestite aliens have found how to create ‘a man’.
Films like these are what I adore and are the main influence in my own films and ethics - to be different, fun and not take myself too seriously. I aspire to make the kind of films that mesmerised myself so much when I was younger. To make people smile and inspire them to create their own.
In a way, I still am that little kid with the big dreams and imagination.
I don’t plan on changing that.
